Terms of Service

Last updated: February 15, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Roth News Network and any related content or services (the “Site”), operated by the Roth News Network.

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Use of the Site

You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute content without permission
  • Post unlawful, harmful, or infringing material in comments
  • Attempt to hack, interfere with, or overload the Site
  • Use automated tools to scrape content unless you reference the Roth News Network and provide credit to the Roth News Network.

2. Intellectual Property

Roth News Network is a news aggregator and commentary platform that curates and displays links to news and information from various sources. The Site includes:

  • Original content created by Roth News Network (such as exclusive articles, analysis, commentary, images, logos, and other materials), which is owned by us or licensed to us. We retain all rights, title, and interest in our original content, protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
  • Aggregated content sourced via public RSS feeds, APIs, or web sources. This includes headlines, short excerpts or summaries (typically limited to the first sentence or a brief description), low-resolution thumbnails or featured images (auto-pulled from feeds or source metadata), and direct links to the original articles on third-party websites.

Third-Party Content and Fair Use We do not own or claim ownership of any third-party content displayed on the Site. Headlines, short excerpts, and thumbnails are used in good faith under the fair use doctrine of U.S. copyright law (17 U.S.C. § 107), primarily for purposes of news reporting, commentary, criticism, indexing, and directing traffic to original publishers. Such use is transformative—it serves to inform users, facilitate discovery, and drive visitors to the source rather than substitute for the original work.

We always provide prominent links back to the original source and attribute content to its publisher where possible (e.g., “Source: [Publisher Name]”). Thumbnails are low-resolution and used solely to visually identify stories. We encourage users to click through to read full articles directly from the original publishers to support journalism and view complete context.

We respect the terms of any RSS feeds we subscribe to and do not alter, remove ads from, or reproduce full articles without explicit permission. If a publisher objects to inclusion or requests removal, contact us immediately—we will promptly remove the item.

Your Use of the Site’s Content You may:

  • View the Site and subscribe to our public RSS feeds for personal, non-commercial, or syndication purposes in accordance with standard RSS practices (e.g., displaying headlines, short excerpts, thumbnails, and direct links back to the original articles on rothnewsnetwork.com).
  • Link to individual pages or articles on the Site from your own website, blog, social media, or other platforms.
  • Share links to our content, reference our articles (with proper attribution and links), or quote limited excerpts under applicable fair use principles for purposes such as commentary, criticism, news reporting, or education.

You may not:

  • Scrape, crawl, or automate extraction of Site content beyond what is permitted through our standard public RSS feeds (e.g., no bulk downloading, database building, or bypassing RSS for full-text harvesting).
  • Reproduce, republish, or distribute full articles, high-resolution images, or substantial portions of any content (our originals or aggregated third-party items) without express written permission from Roth News Network (for our original content) or the applicable copyright owner (for third-party content).
  • Use Site content (including via RSS) for commercial aggregation that competes with or substitutes for our Site, AI training, machine learning datasets, data mining, or other unauthorized commercial purposes.
  • Remove attributions, source links, or copyright notices from any syndicated or shared content.
  • Modify, alter, or strip ads/attribution from RSS-fed content when displaying it elsewhere.

We encourage syndication of our RSS feeds and linking to our content, as it helps spread information and drives traffic to original sources. If you wish to use our content in ways not covered here (e.g., full reprints, commercial partnerships, or large-scale syndication), contact us for permission.

We reserve the right to update or restrict RSS access at any time (e.g., by adding authentication or rate limits) if misuse occurs.

We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe any content infringes your rights, send us a message using the Contact link located on the footer of this page. We will respond expeditiously, including takedowns where appropriate.

Nothing here grants you ownership or broader rights beyond fair/personal use.

3. User Content (Comments, Submissions)

Any comments or submissions become non-confidential. We may use, edit, or remove them at our discretion. You grant us a worldwide license to use your submissions.

4. Third-Party Links & Ads

The Site contains links and advertisements from third parties (including Google AdSense). We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability.

5. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Content is provided “as is” for informational purposes only. We make no warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the Site or reliance on content.

6. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ohio and the United States, without regard to conflict of laws.
